DETAIL
This application was
discussed at the committee meeting last night and the members
have asked me to relay the following: We are concerned that this
type of application will lead to an over development of Baldock
by way of loss of "inner space" in established neighbourhoods.
We have no particular views on this individual application, but
do see it as an unwelcome precident for future similar attempts
to squeeze every last inch out of normal garden space, to the
detriment of amenity space, something we would not like to see a
larger scale or ongoing basis. We trust the council have
notified all adjoining properties to gain their views. Thank
you.
