DETAIL

We have some observations on the above application as follows:

1. The "Foot Path" should be designated Public Right of Way.

2. There are some concerns about the access onto the whole Clothall Common site by a single lane road in the event of an accident blocking this road (as has happened in the past). While this development does not change the situation, we were wondering if any other ideas have been proposed to give an alternative access onto the estate now the traffic congestion has reduced on the Royston Road since the bypass was opened.

3. We think that this proposed development makes good use of the space and will provide more homes within easy reach of the town centre.
