There is a
permanent display on the history of the town from Roman times to the
present.
The museum has a number of local history books, booklets and transcripts
of the displays on sale.
The Baldock
Museum & Local History Society (BMLHS) researches, records, presents and promotes the history of
Baldock and its locality and collects and displays items of local
historical interest.
Membership of the BMLHS costs £3 for individuals and £5 for families.
Members have free entry to the talks and to the museum and receive two
newsletters a year.
The BMLHS also
organises talks on topics of local interest. 2008's programme is as

All talks start at 8.00pm and take place at Baldock Community Centre,
Simpson Drive, SG7 6DH. All are welcome, non-members £1.00.
